BRA FITTING ROOM
85% OF WOMEN WEAR THE WRONG SIZE BRA!!
Fortunately, this is an easy problem to fix.
All you need are some simple tools:
- CLOTH TAPE MEASURE
- YOUR BEST FITTING BRA (No PADDED bras. A minimizer or sports bra will work best)
- For a more exact size have a friend help you
NEXT you need to determine 2 things to find your perfect size.
- Band Size (ribcage)
- Cup Size (bust)
STEP 1: FIND YOUR BAND SIZE
Begin by measuring around your ribcage directly under your bra, hold the tape as snugly as possible, parallel to the floor. Now, take your measurement and round up or down to the nearest inch. (example: 29 ½" round up to 30")
- EVEN #? ADD 4 INCHES
- ODD#? ADD 5 INCHES
This new # is your Band Size or Ribcage Measurement
STEP 2: FIND YOUR CUP SIZE
Standing with your arms at your sides, with a bra on measure around your body at the fullest part of the bust. Wrap the tape measure around the bust parallel to the floor, making sure not to bind the breast. This should be mid-way between your shoulder and your elbow. Then round up or down to the nearest inch.
- Take this bust measurement & subtract your band size.
- The difference is your Cup Size.
- Example: 38"Bust – 34" Band = 4" or a D Cup
- 1"=A, 2"=B, 3"=C, 4"=D, 5"=DD
** This person wears a 34D bra
