About Us

Founded in 1912, Spirite Industries Inc. (S.I.I.) a third generation company, was originally known as a New York City manufacturer of corsets. The company flourished throughout the years, and in the 1960's and early 70's S.I.I. opened state of the art factories in West Virginia and Puerto Rico, and had the reputation of being one of the country's premier manufacturers of ladies brassieres and girdles.

The late 1970's brought a change in business concepts, and Spirite Industries Inc. became one of the first companies in its field to begin moving away from domestic manufacturing. It began to forge joint ventures overseas in Korea and Hong Kong, slowly increasing its production from that region which added continued growth to its business throughout the 1990's.

As the company moved into the 21st century, S.I.I. expanded even further with continued development of strategic worldwide manufacturing partnerships, and increased diversification of intimate apparel items under its umbrella.

S.I.I. continues to grow its market share, manufacturing brands such as Nancy Ganz and Cupcake Lingerie, along with continued expansion in Private Label bras, panties, shapewear and other lingerie items with some of the largest retail, catalog and specialty stores in the U.S. and Canada.
